Description

Mustard oil is an essential cooking ingredient that is found in almost every Indian household. It has got a sharp flavour and pungent aroma and is an indispensable component of many dressings and pickles. This essential oil is prepared from the seeds of the mustard plant wherein the seeds are first grounded properly & mixed with water. The mixture is then purified via the steam distillation process which finally leaves behind the edible oil that we consume.

Mustard oil has got plenty of health benefits. It promotes skin and hair growth and also helps treat cold symptoms such as coughing and congestion. It has a high content of monounsaturated fatty acids that help lower triglycerides and keeps your blood sugar and blood pressure levels under check. Research has also suggested that it helps slow the growth and spread of certain types of cancer cells.

This chemical and additives-free ‘Mustard Oil’ is made from the finest quality mustard seeds and is procured directly from the farmers spread across the length and breadth of rural Bengal.
